IPhone app allows users to use Google Maps with street view, traffic reports, public transport, satellite views, weather forecast, and more on the new iOS 6 in which Google Maps was removed and replaced with Apple’s own native map app. Apple iPhone users have been frustrated by Apple’s decision to remove Google Maps with its latest iOS 6 software update, and many have been looking for workarounds to reclaim the lost functionality. Google Maps has been on the iPhone since 2007, but after an infamous falling out between the two companies Apple decided to end the practice (along with YouTube) and replace it with its own native maps app. The only problem is that it’s performance has been less than stellar, and thus users have been seeking alternatives.
